using LEGO® Technic™ and Mindstorms™
Elementary Engineering and Robotics classes using LEGO offer young engineers a fun and exciting way to engage in hands-on lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.). Students use LEGO Educational Division Materials, LEGO Technic Elements, and LEGO Mindstorms kits to move forward on the path to technological literacy.
They will practice and learn real world, work related competencies that show them how exciting it is to be a scientist. These classes focus on exploring, investigating, teamwork, and problem solving to apply physical science concepts to solve technology problems.
Once your child has completed the three foundation courses (Elementary Engineering I & II and Elementary Robotics I) they may be inspired to compete in the world of LEGO Competitions by joining or starting a FIRST LEGO League team.
